Title: SoulSync: A Framework for Conscious Evolution in a Human Avatar

Author: Jordan Crowder

Version: 1.0

Date: June 2025

Executive Summary

SoulSync is a groundbreaking framework that offers a comprehensive model for human and spiritual integration. It provides a systematic path for aligning the two main aspects of your being: your Human Self (the physical avatar) and your Higher Self (the eternal consciousness). Born out of a Near-Death Experience and years of study into consciousness, human design, and metaphysics, SoulSync is not just another self-development course. It is a spiritual operating system that reconnects you to your purpose, blueprint, and potential.

Through a combination of ancient wisdom and cutting-edge consciousness theory, SoulSync reveals that Earth is a simulator for soul development, your physical body is a pre-designed avatar, and your consciousness came here on a mission. By understanding both your body’s code (Cosmic Human Design) and your soul’s blueprint (Higher Self), SoulSync helps you harmonize these aspects into a coherent, aligned life.

Origin & Foundation

In 2019, a Near-Death Experience (NDE) initiated a profound inquiry into the nature of self, reality, and incarnation. During this experience, I was presented with three core questions:

  • Who am I?
  • Where am I?
  • Why am I?

These questions became the foundation of a multi-year exploration through spiritual traditions, scientific studies, and direct experience. I trained at the Monroe Institute, studied Human Design, and examined ancient and modern understandings of consciousness.

The result was SoulSync: a system based on the realization that we are not just one being, but two distinct intelligences inhabiting one physical body:

  1. The Human Self — the subconscious, physical, and environmental avatar.
  2. The Higher Self — the conscious, eternal, mission-driven essence.

When these two are out of sync, discomfort, confusion, and dis-ease arise. When harmonized, life becomes guided, meaningful, and powerful.

The SoulSync Model

1. The Human Self

Your Human Self is the physical avatar designed for this Earth experience. It is intelligent, conscious, and pre-loaded with traits, preferences, fears, and drives shaped by:

  • Genetics
  • Birth time & place
  • Ancestral lineage
  • Environmental stimuli
  • Cultural programming

SoulSync incorporates Cosmic Human Design, a reimagined system that includes elements of astrology, I Ching, chakra theory, quantum physics, and Kabbalah to decode your avatar. It breaks the Human Self down into layers:

  • Original Design (energy type, strategy, profile)
  • Adaptive Layer (how you’ve changed based on experiences)
  • Emotional Layer (stored responses)
  • Mental Layer (belief systems)
  • Behavioral Layer (habits and identity)
  • Environmental Layer (external factors that influence alignment)

The Human Self operates like a local operating system concerned with survival, pleasure, control, and identity. If these needs aren’t honored, the system malfunctions. SoulSync helps you decode and align this system to support your life path.

2. The Higher Self

Your Higher Self is the non-physical intelligence that enters the simulator (Earth) with a mission. It is:

  • Multi-dimensional
  • Always connected to Source
  • Memory-rich (holds all past and future lives)

It selects your incarnation conditions (body, time, mission) and then streams a portion of itself into you. Due to the veil of forgetting, the Higher Self can only guide subtly—through intuition, dreams, synchronicities, and emotional cues.

SoulSync reconnects you to this guidance system and helps you:

  • Hear the nudges of your Higher Self
  • Remember your soul’s intention for this life
  • Rebuild trust in your own inner wisdom

3. Integration

Integration is the synchronization of your Human Self and Higher Self. It resolves the dissonance between survival-based desires and soul-driven purpose. This is the center of SoulSync.

Practices include:

  • Meditation & guided visualization
  • Self-inquiry and journaling
  • Somatic healing
  • Energetic alignment
  • Purpose-mapping

Integration creates coherence. You begin to act from a place of unity rather than inner conflict. This alignment often results in less anxiety, more energy, and a sense of knowing you are on the right path.

4. Cosmic Human Design

An advanced evolution of traditional Human Design, Cosmic Human Design acknowledges the metaphysical mechanisms behind avatar encoding. It includes:

  • Neutrinos as consciousness data-packets
  • Star and planetary encoding
  • Gate and channel signatures
  • Energy types and profiles

This decoded avatar blueprint helps you understand how your body and subconscious were configured at the moment of incarnation.

The Simulator Theory

SoulSync is built on a unique philosophical model called the Simulator Theory:

  • Earth is a consciousness-driven simulator for soul development
  • Your incarnation is intentional, not random
  • Reincarnation is a system feature for maximum growth
  • Free will allows for genuine learning
  • Suffering and resistance are functional training mechanisms

The Simulator Theory explains why your life feels like a series of challenges, synchronicities, and revelations—because it is. The simulation adapts in real time, offering experiences based on your consciousness growth.

Human Design is a self-discovery system that combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the chakra system, and quantum physics to create a personalized blueprint of an individual’s energetic makeup. Developed in 1987 by Ra Uru Hu, it aims to guide people toward living in alignment with their authentic selves by providing insights into their personality, decision-making processes, and life purpose.
Core Components of Human Design:
  1. BodyGraph: The central visual tool, resembling a chart with nine energy centers (similar to chakras) connected by channels. It’s calculated using your birth date, time, and place, showing how energy flows within you.
  2. Energy Types: Five main types describe how individuals interact with the world and manage energy:
    • Generator (~70% of population): Builders with sustainable energy, designed to respond to life and find satisfaction through work they love.
    • Projector (~20%): Guides who manage and direct others, thriving by waiting for invitations to share their wisdom.
    • Manifestor (~9%): Initiators who spark action, meant to act independently and inform others before acting.
    • Reflector (~1%): Rare mirrors of their environment, designed to reflect societal health by waiting a lunar cycle for decisions.
    • Manifesting Generator (subset of Generators, ~33%): Multi-passionate responders who combine Generator and Manifestor traits.
  3. Authority: Your inner decision-making process, indicating how to make aligned choices (e.g., Sacral Authority for gut responses, Emotional Authority for waiting for emotional clarity).
  4. Strategy: A practical approach for each type to navigate life effectively (e.g., Generators respond, Projectors wait for invitations).
  5. Gates and Channels: Derived from the I Ching, these represent specific traits or energies activated by planetary positions at birth, connecting centers in the BodyGraph.
  6. Profile: A 2-number combination (e.g., 5/1) describing your role or personality archetype in life.
  7. Centers: Nine hubs (e.g., Head, Heart, Sacral) that can be defined (active) or undefined (open), influencing how you process energy and interact with others.
How It Works:
  • Using your birth details, a Human Design chart is generated (available on sites like mybodygraph.com or through practitioners).
  • The chart reveals your unique design, showing defined (consistent) and undefined (flexible) centers, active gates, and energy flow.
  • By following your strategy and authority, you align with your natural flow, reducing resistance and amplifying fulfillment.
Purpose and Benefits:
  • Self-Awareness: Understand your strengths, challenges, and how you’re wired energetically.
  • Decision-Making: Learn how to make choices that align with your true self, avoiding societal conditioning.
  • Relationships: Gain insights into dynamics with others based on complementary or contrasting designs.
  • Deconditioning: Unlearn habits or beliefs that don’t serve you, embracing your authentic nature.
Example:
A Generator with Sacral Authority might thrive by waiting for opportunities that spark a gut “yes” before committing, avoiding frustration from forcing action. Their chart might show a defined Sacral center (consistent energy) and an undefined Throat (flexible communication style).
Key Philosophy:
Human Design emphasizes experimentation—test your strategy and authority to see what resonates. It’s not about rigid rules but discovering what feels right for you. The system encourages self-love and living as your unique design, often described as a “manual for your soul.”
Cosmic Human Design is a variant of traditional Human Design that uses true sidereal astrology instead of tropical astrology to calculate an individual’s energetic blueprint. Developed by Richard Mason, it aims to provide a more accurate reflection of one’s cosmic imprint by aligning with the actual positions of stars and constellations at the time of birth, rather than the seasonal zodiac used in traditional Human Design.
Core Features of Cosmic Human Design:
  1. Astrological Basis:
    • Unlike traditional Human Design, which uses tropical astrology (aligned with Earth’s seasons and a fixed zodiac), Cosmic Human Design employs true sidereal astrology. This accounts for the precession of the equinoxes and uses the real-time positions of celestial bodies, adjusting zodiac signs to reflect the visible sky.
    • True sidereal astrology also uses unequal zodiac signs (e.g., Virgo is larger than Scorpio), unlike the equal 30-degree segments in tropical astrology.
  2. BodyGraph and Chart Differences:
    • The shift to sidereal astrology changes planetary positions in the chart, potentially altering:
      • Energy Type (e.g., Generator to Projector).
      • Authority (e.g., Sacral to Self-Projected).
      • Profile (e.g., 5/1 to 1/4).
      • Gates and Channels: Different I Ching hexagrams may be activated due to shifted planetary placements.
    • The result is a BodyGraph that may look and function differently from a tropical Human Design chart, even for the same birth details.
  3. Philosophical Focus:
    • Cosmic Human Design emphasizes reconnecting with the “natural universe” and “indigenous wisdom.” It suggests that sidereal calculations align more closely with the cosmos, offering a direct path to recognizing one’s true self.
    • Proponents claim it reduces the need for the lengthy deconditioning process (often cited as 14 years in traditional Human Design), as the sidereal chart may feel more immediately resonant.
  4. Core Components:
    • Like traditional Human Design, it includes:
      • Energy Types: Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Manifestor, Reflector.
      • Authority: Inner decision-making process.
      • Strategy: Practical approach for navigating life.
      • Centers, Gates, and Channels: Based on nine energy centers and I Ching hexagrams.
    • However, these elements may differ due to the sidereal calculation, affecting how individuals are advised to live in alignment.
How It Differs from Traditional Human Design:
  • Calculation: Tropical astrology (season-based) vs. true sidereal astrology (star-based).
  • Chart Outcomes: Different gate activations and energy configurations, leading to potentially distinct types, strategies, and authorities.
  • Resonance: Some find Cosmic Human Design charts align better with their “soul essence,” while tropical charts may describe surface behaviors.
  • Criticism: Traditionalists argue that sidereal astrology disrupts the I Ching’s alignment with the tropical zodiac, which is integral to Ra Uru Hu’s original system.
Purpose and Benefits:
  • Self-Discovery: Helps individuals understand their unique energetic design and live authentically.
  • Cosmic Connection: Emphasizes alignment with the actual cosmos, fostering a deeper bond with the universe.
  • Simplified Alignment: Claims to offer quicker recognition of one’s true nature, bypassing extensive deconditioning.
  • Personalized Guidance: Provides strategies and authorities tailored to the sidereal chart for decision-making and relationships.
Example:
Someone born on June 20, 1985, might be a Generator with Sacral Authority in tropical Human Design, responding to life with gut instincts. In Cosmic Human Design, the same person could be a Projector with Self-Projected Authority, advised to wait for invitations and follow their inner voice, due to shifted planetary positions.
Accessibility:
  • Charts can be generated on sites like cosmichumandesign.com or through practitioners familiar with sidereal calculations, using birth date, time, and place.
  • Resources and readings are available from Cosmic Human Design advocates, though the system is less widespread than traditional Human Design.
Considerations:
  • Resonance: Experiment with both tropical and sidereal charts to see which feels more aligned. Some prefer Cosmic Human Design for its cosmic accuracy, while others stick with the established tropical system.
  • Controversy: Critics within the Human Design community question the validity of sidereal calculations, arguing they deviate from the system’s original framework.
In summary, Cosmic Human Design is a reimagined version of Human Design that uses true sidereal astrology to create a BodyGraph, emphasizing a star-aligned, natural approach to self-discovery. It shares the same goal as traditional Human Design—living authentically—but offers a different lens through which to understand your energetic blueprint. To explore, generate a sidereal chart and test its strategy and authority against your experience.
The primary difference between Cosmic Human Design and traditional Human Design lies in the astrological system used to calculate the charts, which affects the interpretation of an individual’s design.
Key Differences:
  1. Astrological Foundation:
    • Traditional Human Design: Uses tropical astrology, which aligns the zodiac with the seasons and is based on the Earth’s relationship to the Sun. This is the standard system developed by Ra Uru Hu in 1987, integrating astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the chakra system, and quantum physics to create a BodyGraph that reflects an individual’s energetic blueprint.
    • Cosmic Human Design: Uses true sidereal astrology, which aligns with the actual positions of the stars and constellations in the sky at the time of birth. This approach, pioneered by Richard Mason, claims to provide a more accurate representation of the cosmic imprint, as it reflects the “real” sky visible at birth without seasonal adjustments.

  2. Chart Calculation:
    • In traditional Human Design, the positions of planets are calculated using tropical zodiac coordinates, which determine the gates and channels activated in the BodyGraph.
    • In Cosmic Human Design, the shift to true sidereal astrology rotates the astrological wheel and changes the size and number of zodiac signs. This often results in different gate activations, leading to a potentially different energy type, authority, strategy, and profile compared to a tropical chart. For example, someone might be a Manifestor in tropical Human Design but a Projector in Cosmic Human Design.

  3. Philosophical Emphasis:
    • Traditional Human Design: Focuses on self-discovery through deconditioning, emphasizing alignment with one’s authentic self by following strategy and authority. It aims to help individuals navigate life by understanding their unique energetic makeup.

    • Cosmic Human Design: Places additional emphasis on reconnecting with the “natural universe” and “indigenous wisdom.” It suggests that true sidereal astrology offers a more immediate recognition of one’s true self, potentially bypassing the lengthy deconditioning process (sometimes cited as 14 years in traditional Human Design). Proponents claim it fosters a deeper connection to the Earth and cosmos.

  4. Resonance and Experience:
    • Some individuals report that their Cosmic Human Design chart feels more resonant or accurate on a “soul level” compared to their tropical chart, which might describe surface-level behaviors but not their deeper essence. For instance, a person might feel misaligned with their tropical chart’s energy type (e.g., Generator) but find the Cosmic chart’s type (e.g., Projector) fits better.

    • However, others argue that sidereal Human Design is less consistent with the original system’s framework, as the I Ching in traditional Human Design is aligned with the tropical zodiac, potentially making sidereal calculations less coherent.

  5. Practical Implications:
    • Because the astrological basis changes, a Cosmic Human Design chart can alter key components like:
      • Energy Type: E.g., from Generator to Projector.
      • Authority: E.g., from Sacral to Self-Projected.
      • Profile: E.g., from 5/1 to 1/4.
      • Gates and Channels: Different planetary positions activate different I Ching hexagrams.
    • This can lead to entirely different strategies for decision-making and living in alignment.

Similarities:

Both systems aim to guide individuals toward self-understanding and alignment with their unique design. They share the same foundational elements (astrology, I Ching, Kabbalah, chakras) and use the BodyGraph to map energy centers, gates, and channels. The core message of both is self-love and living authentically.

Considerations:
  • Which is “Better”? The choice depends on personal resonance. Some find Cosmic Human Design’s sidereal approach more accurate, while others prefer the established tropical system. Experimentation is key, as Human Design encourages testing what feels right.

Accessibility: You can generate a Cosmic Human Design chart on sites like cosmichumandesign.com or through practitioners like Richard Mason, often requiring the same birth details (date, time, place) as traditional charts. Conclusion:

Cosmic Human Design differs from traditional Human Design primarily in its use of true sidereal astrology instead of tropical astrology, leading to potentially different chart outcomes and a focus on reconnecting with the natural cosmos. While both systems share the same goal of self-discovery, Cosmic Human Design may resonate more with those seeking a star-based, “indigenous” perspective, while traditional Human Design remains the more widely accepted framework. To explore which aligns better, calculate both charts and experiment with their strategies.

Cosmic Human Design Info Sheet and Chart Explanations/Legend

**Note: this document is intended only to represent my interpretations of the key parts of the Human Design system and literature (and be a helpful guide for people of course), and is not intended to represent or replace the official Human Design stance, view, or definition of these terms

This document will lay out the meanings and different possibilities for each of the fields on the Cosmic Human Design chart:

Type: A person’s type is a synthetic designation that Ra added to Human Design after pressure from many in the system’s early years that the chart could use some labels to help people better understand what appeared to be a set number of natural patterns emerging through the different combinations of channels within people and (in my opinion) a combination of the theoretical and observed behaviors corresponding to those combinations of channels.  I will refer to there being 5 unique types here, although some believe 4 types is sufficient.

The types are, in order of prevalence:
Generator – Defined sacral and cannot have a motor connected to the throat (~36%)
Manifesting Generator – Defined sacral, but has a motor connected to the throat (~34%)

Projector – Undefined sacral, no motor connection to throat (~20%)

Manifestor – Undefined sacral, but has a motor connection to the throat (~10%)
Reflector – All centers are undefined (~<1%)

Authority: A person’s “inner” authority is, according to Human Design, what a person can always rely on to make correct decisions.  This usually comes from a center in the BodyGraph, namely the Solar Plexus, Sacral, or Spleen, but the Heart, G center, and Ajna can also be the authority.  The Reflector has no source of authority they can always rely on within themselves, and are advised to wait out a full cycle of the moon(~28 days) before making major decisions.  Authority follows a hierarchy, meaning that if a person has one of more of the following centers actived in their bodygraph, the higher one will take precedence.  (Why this is so is, in my opinion, a topic worthy of much more debate than I have yet seen)

The authority hierarchy is:

Solar Plexus

Sacral

Spleen

Ego-Manifested(Channel 21-45, heart-to-throat)

Ego-Projected(Channel 51-25, heart-Gcenter)

Self-Projected(G center connected to throat)

Environment(Ajna, Head, or throat connected to each other in any combination, e.g. ajna-to-throat, ajna-to-head, or all 3 together) *note: according to the Definitive Book of Human Design, this authority is not itself considered to be an “inner” authority(because it involves the ajna center, or mind, this is what Human Design consistently refers to as a person’s “outer” authority)
Lunar(Reflector’s cycle of the Moon)

Profile: The combination of the Personality Sun’s hexagram line and the Design Sun’s hexagram line.  For example if your personality sun is 45.1 and your design sun is 36.3, your profile would be the 1/3 Each of the lines also has an archetypal name, which reflects the characteristic function of the line within the hexagram as a whole. These meanings are as follows:
Line 1 – Investigator

Line 2 – The Hermit

Line 3 – The Martyr

Line 4 – The Opportunist

Line 5 – The Heretic

Line 6 – The Role Model

The analogy of a house works particularly well for getting a feel for the different lines. Line 1 is the foundation, the first floor of the house.  Line 2 is like someone dancing in their living room with the window curtain wide open, somewhat oblivious to anyone outside the house looking in at them.  Line 3 is the stairs, the transition from the first to second floor. Line 4 is the foundation of the second floor.  Line 5 is like someone in a second floor room peeking out at the scene below them, but unlike the 2nd line not able to be seen from the outside.  Line 6 is on the roof, with a full view of the entire countryside, but perhaps not able to easily come down.  These lines form 12 possible combinations, called Profile, with characteristic personality traits corresponding to both their conscious (personality sun) and unconscious (design sun).  In addition, the profiles are divided into 3 categories of “Incarnation Cross”(see next topic) depending on whether or not a line of the “lower trigram”(of the hexagram, lines 1-3 are the lower trigram) or “upper trigram” (lines 4-6) is in the personality sun. Briefly, the Right angle profiles are more focused on playing out their personal destiny, while the left angles are more focused on society as a whole.  The juxtaposition is equipped with all the tools for a very “set” trajectory. The 12 profiles are:

Right angle(66%):
1/3 – Investigator/Martyr

1/4 – Investigator/Opportunist

2/4 – Hermit/Opportunist

2/5 – Hermit/Heretic

3/5 – Martyr/Heretic

3/6 – Martyr/Role Model

4/6 – Opportunist/Role Model

Juxtaposition (the so-called “fixed fate”)(~1-2%):
4/1 – Opportunist/Investigator

Left angle (33%):

5/1 – Heretic/Investigator

5/2 – Heretic/Hermit

6/2 – Role Model/Hermit

6/3 – Role Model/Martyr

All the profiles are unique and more than the sum of their parts, which would take far too much space to go through in this sheet.

Incarnation Cross: The incarnation cross is formed from the 4 gates(and lines, e.g. whether they are right, juxtaposition, or left angled) comprising a person’s personality Sun/Earth and design Sun/Earth.  It’s called a cross because, since a person’s design date and birth date are approximately 90 days or degrees apart, and the Sun and Earth form an opposition(a straight line on the mandala wheel), the combination of the 4 will look literally like a cross.  There are 3 different possibilities for every hexagram, one for the Right-angle possibility, one for the juxtaposition or fixed fate and one for the Left-angle possibility for 192 unique incarnation crosses(although more advanced Human Design courses further break this down into even more combinations, or “specific” crosses.)  The incarnation cross is said to describe the outlines of the basic objectives or characteristics of a person’s life when they are “living” their design correctly.

Channels: The first channels field lists, in parentheses, the different channels in that person’s bodygraph.  The second field is the name and keynote description given to the channel in standard HD literature. Channels are said to make up a person’s “life force energy,” or the energy that is most consistently “them,” and is always active.  Although keep in mind if a channel has one or both unconscious parts, that person may not easily be aware that this “consistent” energy is always there for them (but other people can usually find this much easier to see.)

The next fields concern characteristics derived from the “color” and “tone” of, mainly, a person’s Sun/Earth gates and their design and personality North/South nodes.  (The color is the level below the line, and the tone is the level below the color.  These are supposed to represent even deeper levels of information encoded by the neutrino stream.  So even if two people have the same gate and line, say 4.4, they may and most likely will have a different color, for example 4.4.5 (5 is the color) vs. 4.4.1 (1 is the color), and a different tone, e.g. 4.4.5.2 (2 is the tone) vs. 4.4.1.6 (6 is the tone).

Brain: This field concerns mainly the diet that the physical brain needs to function optimally, comes from the Design Sun/Earth, and is either “active,” or “left” if their design sun tone is 1-3, or “passive” (“right”) if their design sun tone is 4-6. Basically, the “active” brain benefits more from a regular, consistent diet than the “passive.”  In fact, fasting for any length of time can be very unhealthy for the “active” brain.  The “active” brain finds malnutrition very devastating as occurs in famine or impoverished areas of the world.  On another note, the “passive” brain can be prone to overeating (because it doesn’t need as much nutrition to function) and things like obesity, diabetes etc. One of the 4 left/right distinctions that make up the Variable.

Environment Style: This comes from the tone of the Design North/South nodes, and can be “observed” or “observer,” with “observed” corresponding to “left” and “observer” corresponding to “right.” One of the 4 left/right distinctions that make up the Variable.

Determination: Comes from the color and tone of the Design Sun/Earth, and represents the physical brain  and the type of digestive system needed to support it. The first value in parentheses comes from the color and has 6 possibilities, the second comes from the tone and has two possibilities, depending on if the tone is “left” or “right.” The more “primitive” and “rigid” digestive systems begin with the 1st color, while the digestive system becomes more sensitive towards the 6th color.

The 6 Determinations with the left or “active” variant on the left and the right tone or “passive” variant on the right..:

1 Consecutive Appetite Alternating

2 Open Taste Close

3 Hot Thirst Cold

4 Calm Touch Nervous

5 High Sound Low

6 Direct Light Indirect

Cognition: Again comes from the tone of the Design Sun/Earth and there are 6 possibilities.  The first 2 tones represent the splenic binary, tones 3 and 4 the ajna, and tones 5 and 6 the solar plexus.  Cognition is like whatever sense it represents, like smell or touch, if that sense doesn’t feel right to you in your environment, then it will present difficulties as far as your cognition and ability to think correctly goes.

The 6 cognitions are:

1 Smell

2 Taste

3 Outer Vision

4 Inner Vision

5 Feeling

6 Touch

Environment: The meaning of this one is at least pretty self-explanatory.  The ideal environment for you to be in.  It is determined from your Design Nodes.  There are 6 environments, with 2 variations of each, for a total of 12 unique values.  The first word in parentheses comes from your Design nodes’ color, the second from the tone.  There are 6 “left” environments, which generally means being active is better for you, and 6 “right” environments, generally meaning being passive is better for you, you like to sit back and take things in.  Also, the first 3 or “lower” colors, 1-3, denote a “hardscape,” whereas 4-6 denote a “landscape.”  Generally hardscapes are more urban, dense, environments with less space, and indoors.

The 6 environments, with the “left” or “observed” variation on the left and the “right” or “observer” variation on the right:

1 Selective – Caves – Blending

2 Internal – Markets – External

3 Wet – Kitchens – Dry

4 Active – Mountains – Passive

5 Narrow – Valleys – Wide

6 Natural – Shores – Artificial

Mind: Comes from the personality Sun/Earth tone and corresponds to the “leftness” or “rightness” of the tone.  Can be either strategic for tones 1-3 or receptive for tones 4-6.  One of the 4 variables

View Perspective: Comes from the personality Nodes and corresponds to the “leftness” or “rightness” of the tone.  Can be focused for tones 1-3 or passive for tones 4-6.  One of the 4 variables.  So the “left/right” distinctions that make up the Variable are: Brain – Environment Style – Mind – View Perspective

Motivation: Comes from the color of the Personality Sun/Earth and can be thought of as giving an extra character to whichever line you have.  Since it is your main personality expression, it can be thought of as the underlying motivation of your personality.  There are 6 variations, and keep these in mind when thinking about the particular line you have.  And again, we have 2 variations of each of the 6 colors here, which is actually given another name: the Trajectory, which follows.
The 6 Motivations are:

1 Fear

2 Hope

3 Desire

4 Need

5 Guilt

6 Innocence

Trajectory: Comes from the tone of the personality Sun/Earth and is the direction you are headed.  Should be read with the motivation.  For example the 1st motivation is Fear, and the 2 trajectories for fear are the Communalist and the Separatist.  Fear of an unstable foundation leads you on either of these 2 trajectories.  Again, the word on the left is the left, or “strategic” or the right, or “receptive”(since we are still talking about your mind) variant.  The trajectory is where you are heading.  You actually start out on the other side though, so keep that in mind.

1 Communalist – Separatist

2 Theist – Anti-Theist

3 Leader – Follower

4 Master – Novice

5 Conditioner – Conditioned

6 Observer – Observed

Sense: Also comes from tone of the personality Sun/Earth and is the “sense” in which your mind works.  Analyze this while contemplating your Motivation and Trajectory.  All of these really go together.  This is the “sense” in which the intelligence of the person operates, perhaps what they are chiefly concerned about  when you really get down to it. Or they have a particular gift for always thinking about things in these terms.

1 Security

2 Uncertainty

3 Action

4 Meditation

5 Judgment

6 Acceptance

View: Based on the color of the personality Nodes.  This is the “perspective” from which you consciously are viewing things.  Someone with “possibility” sees things in terms of possibilities, they see more possibilities than most.

1 Survival

2 Possibility

3 Power

4 Wanting

5 Probability

6 Personal

Transferred Motivation: Now “transference” is a mechanism for motivation and view that says when you are in a not-self mode, you will go to the corresponding motivation or view.  In other words, you’ll be motivated by something that just doesn’t work for you, or see things in a way that is totally incorrect for you. So, this describes those incorrect motivations. If you have the 1st motivation, you will go to the 4, the 2 to the 5, the 3 to the 6.  So really, on the personality side, these colors form a binary, which is always moving back and forth or either in transference or not.

1 Fear -> 4 Need

2 Hope -> 5 Guilt

3 Desire -> 6 Innocence

4 Need -> Fear

5 Guilt -> Hope

6 Innocence -> Desire

Transferred View: Similarly, the same process takes place in the View, again from the Personality Nodes, how you view things.

1 Survival -> 4 Wanting

2 Possibility -> 5 Probability

3 Power -> 6 Personal

4 Wanting -> 1 Survival

5 Probability -> 2 Possibility

6 Personal -> 3 Power

Personality and Design Chains: The numbers follow this format gate.line.color.tone for each personality and design gate, except Chiron and BlackMoonLillith, which have no impact on the chart and don’t activate gates in the BodyGraph.
